Biography[]
Reports tell of a creature living along the Congo River Basin that resembles a living sauropod (long-necked and extremely long-tailed dinosaurs such as Brachiosaurus, Brontosaurus, and Diplodocus). They are mentioned in The Lost King of Africa: Part One and briefly debuted at the end of The Lost King of Africa: Part Two. They were seen in a flashback in The Kur Stone: Part Two and Kur: Part One. They also appear in War of the Cryptids as a part of Argost's army. This cryptid supposedly lives in the Lake Tele region of the Congo. At the end of the war, the Mokele-Mbembe was chased away by the Grootslang.

Trivia[]
- In War of the Cryptids, Mokele-Mbembes are shown walking on their hind legs fighting with Argost. Although real sauropods could stand for a while on two legs, they had to walk on all fours.
- Unlike most sauropods, they spend most of their time in the water. They don't eat meat, but will quickly kill those who disturb its territory, including animals.
